Internet Protocol (IP) Addresses
We may collect your IP address to help diagnose problems with our server and to administrate our website. Your IP address is only used to identify you and form broad demographic information. This practice is common and even essential for most websites, as most companies find it necessary to assess their business online.
We collect log files pertaining to the amount of unique users, the length of a visit, pages visited, time and day of visit, file downloads and advertising views and clicks.
We maintain two types of web files using IP addresses and other information: (1) a web log file that monitors the usage of the site itself originating at individual IP addresses; and (2) a log of calling information, such as phone number. Actual phone conversations are not recorded by the service. joip will not read, listen to, or disclose to any third parties private e-mail, conversations, or other communications that are transmitted using joip services except as required to ensure proper operation of our services or as otherwise required by law.
joip may also collect personally identifiable information from you in the event of a contest, sweepstakes, or other type of promotion.
Links and Special Relationships
Our site may include links to other websites on the Internet. However, please be advised that joip is not responsible for the privacy practice of such sites.

Occasionally, we will share your account information with our partners if that is necessary in the development and/or improvement of our services. On a case-by-case basis, if our partners have product information that may be of interest to you, unless you have opted out we may allow them to use your information for the dissemination of product information. joip uses pixels, or transparent GIF files, to help manage online advertising. These GIF files are provided by our various partners and providers. These files enable us to learn which advertisements bring users to our website. The information that we collect and share is anonymous and not personally identifiable. It does not contain your name, address, telephone number, or email address. For more information, contact Customer Care.
Children's Online Privacy Protection Act
joip does not knowingly solicit or collect customer identifiable information from children or teenagers under the age of eighteen. You should be aware, however, that calling plans purchased for family use may be used by minors without the knowledge of joip. If that happens, any information collected from the usage will appear to be the personal information of the actual adult subscriber and treated as such under this Policy.
As we continue to develop our business, we may sell our company, our subsidiaries, divisions and business units and all or substantially all of our assets. In such transactions, customer information is generally one of the transferred business assets, but remains subject to pre-existing Privacy Policies (unless the customer consents otherwise).
